How do I apply a Template Design Set template to my existing PowerPoint presentation?
While the presentation is open,
1. Choose Apply Design Template from the Format menu.
2. Navigate to the location of the templates and select the template you want. You’ll see a thumbnail image in the navigation palette.
3. Choose Apply.

How do I apply a Template Design Set template to a new PowerPoint presentation?
Create a new blank presentation in PowerPoint.,
1. Choose Apply Design Template from the Format menu.
2. Navigate to the location of the templates and select the template you want. You’ll see a thumbnail image in the navigation palette.
3. Choose Apply.

How do I use the Alternate Slide Backgrounds?
Template Design Set Alternate Backgrounds coordinate with the overall design of the Set. (You may need to adjust the font color when you use them.) To add an alternate slide to your presentation:
1. Choose Background from the Format menu.
2. Under Background fill, click the down arrow, click Fill Effects, and then click the Picture tab.
3. Click Select Picture, find the folder that contains the Design Set you are using.
4. Select the alternate background you want, double-click the file name, and then click OK.
5. To apply the background to the current slide, click Apply. To apply the change to all slides, click Apply to All.
