Movie Maker: Adding a Profile to Output Quality Presentation Files
What Profile should I use when saving my video and title from Movie Maker? We have created a profile that outputs at 800X600 at 30 frames per second.
Inside of your zip file download, you will find a file named Powerfinish-800X600 WMV9.prx. Profile files tell Movie Maker the settings your video should use when saving. It’s easy to install
Put the Profile into Movie Maker
You will find Movie Maker installed on your C drive. Paste the prx file into the “Shared\Profiles” folder under Movie Maker.
Movie Maker is a free tool from Microsoft. If it was not installed on your XP machine, you can download it here.
If you’re using Vista, download here.
Vista users: see how to create a folder to insert the profile in Vista here.
Select the Profile when Saving
In the Save Movie Wizard, just select “Show More Options”, click the drop down list and choose Powerfinish - 800X600.
